But at an event, a Textron Specialized Vehicles employee spoke to Triyoko. Textron Specialized Vehicles had just created a brand-new position within HR and thought Triyoko would be the perfect fit for this new role.

Early Career
In December, Textron participated in Junior Achievement RI’s JA Inspire, an in-person career exploration fair for 5,600+ 8th grade students to learn about different educational pathways, career opportunities and skills that will support their futures. 30+ volunteers including finance professionals, IT analysts, HR generalists, legal specialists, and executive assistants, represented the various functions from our world headquarters in Providence, RI. This was a great opportunity to show up in our community and educate students about careers in manufacturing, STEM and business. Let’s hear from some of our volunteers about the event!

“I still remember making paper airplanes in fourth grade,” says Taylor Rogers, flight controls engineer at Textron’s newest business unit, Textron eAviation. “I was always fascinated by planes flying overhead. I didn’t come from a family involved in the military or aviation; my mom was an accountant, and my dad was in sales. But I grew up near five military bases, with Eglin Air Force Base being the largest.”
Taylor joined Textron eAviation after spending nearly two years with Textron Aviation. Being part of Textron has allowed her to pursue her passion for aviation.

The game’s heating up and the excitement is through the roof. Only 90 yards to go. Then, boom! The quarterback snaps the ball and finds his receiver on a quick slant. He breaks a tackle, sprints downfield, and there it is—a touchdown!
This is just a slice of Eddie Hartfield’s life outside Textron Aviation. The purchasing agent based in Wichita, has a heart for football—a sport that has been a significant part of his life since childhood. His decades-long passion has led him and his best friend Darell to create the Kansas Wichita Skyhawks, a semi-pro team with a mission far beyond just playing the game.
